Can I plug in my home phone (fixed) line into the new IRIS V videophone?
The AU2 IRIS 3000 videophone allowed a customer to plug their landline into the ‘line’ port and their cordless device into the ‘phone' port. As the IRIS V has been designed to be a ‘Global’ device – only the FXS (Phone) port has been enabled as not all ACN markets had the ‘Line’ port available on their IRIS 3000 device. This provides efficiencies in rolling out new firmware upgrades and software enhancements across the entire ACN global network.
What do I need in order to use the ACN Digital Phone Service?
A suitable device that can make DPS calls on the ACN Network.
A high-speed Internet connection such as DSL or Cable Internet which supports a minimum upload speed of 256Kbps.
Can I use a mobile broadband connection to support my ACN Digital Phone Service?
No. Operation of the IRIS 3000 Videophone requires a terrestrial broadband Internet connection (e.g. DSL or Cable Internet). Mobile (HSDPA) broadband does not have the bandwidth or stability necessary to adequately support the dedicated video calling capabilities on the device. We do not recommend that Videophones be connected to the Internet via a mobile broadband modem and we cannot provide technical support for a device that is set-up in this manner.
Can I order more than one service?
Yes, you may connect more than one Digital Phone Service at your residential address.
BYO Equipment
If you have a device with a built in ATA or a Videophone you can sign up for ACN Digital Phone Service and bring your own equipment. ACN Technical Support will use their best endevours to reconfogure your device to work on the ACN Network, however we cannot guarantee this. For full DPS support we recommend you purchase one of our DPS devices.
ACN DPS devices are available here.
Please note that the ACN Digital Phone Service in Australia does not support videophone equipment purchased overseas.
Can I order the ACN Digital Phone Service for business purposes?
The ACN Digital Phone Service has been developed as a pre-paid, consumer grade, voice over IP (VoIP) service. The product is not intended for commercial site installation. The Digital Phone Service is suitable however for small office/home office use, where a guaranteed quality of service is not required. Please note if signing up for the pre-paid product each Digital Phone Service must be established on a separate account in the name of an individual (i.e. accounts cannot be established for a business entity).
Can I place a bulk order for the ACN Digital Phone Service?
Please speak to your ACN Independent Business Owner (IBO) if you have a requirement for multiple services.
Can I take the Videophone handset away with me?
No, as each Digital Phone Service is assigned a geographic phone number fixed to the service location you nominated at sign-up. You should not move your videophone from its nominated service address without first contacting us to change your address and, if required, have a new phone number allocated to your Digital Phone Service.
Is there a Cooling-Off Period if I sign up for the ACN Digital Phone Service?
A 14 day Cooling-Off Period applies from the 'order date' (as per the confirmation notice sent to you at sign-up). You must contact us on 1300 881 778 to cancel the service within the 14 day period and you are responsible for returning the Videophone equipment to us. Returns must be new and unopened, with all original packaging (including security seals intact), accessories, manuals and delivery docket/proof of purchase. Refunds will be applied to the original payment method. Any delivery fee originally charged will not be refunded. Any rebate or offer associated with the purchased equipment will be voided.
If you ask for us to arrange to collect the equipment a $25.00 Recovery Fee will be charged to cover our costs of recovering your handset.
I have forgotten my Member Centre password
Your password is the 4 digit number you created when you signed up for the ACN Digital Phone Service. If you cannot remember your password, please contact Customer Service on 1300 881 778 to have your password reset.

We recommend you provide your Mobile contact number so if we are unable to get through we can send you a text message for you to call back at your nearest convenience.
