ACN-2-ACN Video Calling is available only for calls made within Australia to another ACN Digital Phone Service including international video calls to Digital Phone Services in the following countries; Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Rep. of Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States. Calls to ACN home and business services are excluded. All timed calls are charged in one-minute increments.
Terms and Conditions
Digital Phone Service is a Video and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service for residential use only and requires a suitable terrestrial broadband Internet connection. For technical and commercial reasons the service is available only in limited areas. The service is not available in NT or TAS. The transfer (porting) of your current home phone number to a Digital Phone Service is not currently supported. The service including ‘000’ dialing, does not function in the event of a power failure or disruption or an Internet outage. If there is an interruption to the power supply, the service, including ‘000’ dialling will not function until power is restored. You may not be able to access some other products and services that are incompatible with the service. You should let us know if you are a customer with a serious illness or life threatening condition, if you require disability services, if you have a back-to-base home alarm system or if you require an uninterrupted phone line. To make calls you will need either an IRIS 3000™ video phone to connect to the Ethernet port of your ADSL2+ modem/router, or a standard (analogue) telephone handset used in conjunction with an ATA (Analogue Telephone Adaptor). All timed calls are charged in one-minute increments.
The Service, including '000' dialling, does not function in the event of power failure or disruption. If there is an interruption in the power supply, the Service, including '000' dialling will not function until power is restored. You should not rely on the Service as your primary telephone service.
Minimum Costs
Your credit card will be billed for the upfront cost which includes your first month's service fee at the time you sign-up.
¶ If you connect on a month-to-month basis the total minimum cost to you is $349, excluding any additional or excluded usage costs.
† If you connect for 12 months minimum cost to you over 12 months is $579, excluding any additional or excluded usage costs.

Pre-Paid connection requires the purchase of a Pre-Paid Video Phone Starter Pack including an IRIS 3000 video phone. Your credit or debit card will be billed for the upfront cost which includes your first month’s service fee at the time you sign up.
IRIS 3000 video phone requires a router and a mains power supply. The image quality of the video phone is dependent on the speed and quality of your broadband connection and will be affected by factors such as Internet traffic, your line connection, your location and the location of the video phone you are calling. Recommended minimum upload throughput for the video phone is 256kbps (1Mbps preferred). The video calling capabilities will not function where your broadband connection has been shaped. Average usage is 5MB of data per minute of video calling. Actual data and bandwidth usage is dependent on the selected settings of your video phone and the upload speed of your broadband connection.
