BlackBerry Plans are available only to new credit approved personal customers. Plan fee is $79 (BlackBerry $79 Plan) or $99 (BlackBerry $99 Plan) per month. If your usage of the included calls, text and services exceeds the monthly allowance you will be charged, in addition to the Plan Fee, for any of the calls, text and services above the allowance at applicable rates. Plan included usage excludes some calls, text and services. You will pay the Plan Fee each month in advance irrespective of your use of the service. For a part month, you will only pay part of the Plan Fee and you will also receive only part of the allowance of minutes and text.

Plan included usage: The following call and text types are eligible for deduction from the allowances of your BlackBerry Plan: standard national voice and video calls, calls to 13/1300 and 18 numbers, national SMS and international SMS. Calls and text must be made within Australia. Your BlackBerry email and Internet allowance includes unlimited data for BlackBerry email as well as browsing the Internet from the BlackBerry Browser within Australia. If your usage of the included calls, services and exceeds the monthly allowance for any individual allowance you will be charged, in addition to the Plan Fee, for any of the calls and services above your allowance. Calls reduce your minutes allowance in 30 second increments. Each SMS of 160 characters will reduce your text allowance in increments of one. Your unused allowance of minutes and text does not roll over into the following month and is not transferable.

Plan excluded usage: The following call, text and service types are not eligible for deduction from your minutes, text and BlackBerry email and Internet allowances and will be charged at applicable rates in addition to your Plan Fee: 124YES (surcharge only, the duration of the call to the operator and any subsequent connection is eligible for deduction from your minutes allowance), operator assisted calls, directory assistance, international voice and video calls (including calls to fixed lines or GSM mobiles that then divert/switch or re-route overseas), calls to Premium numbers (e.g. 1900), national and international MMS (audio, picture and video messages), Mobile Internet usage via the WAP browser of your handset and third party content and subscription purchases, premium and third party SMS and international Roaming (including BlackBerry email and Internet usage while roaming). Excluded call types and services are not deducted from your minutes, text and mobile Internet data allowance and are charged on top of your Plan Fee in arrears.

Where you are an existing customer and you request a change to or from a BlackBerry Plan we will process your request at the beginning of your next invoicing cycle.

Minimum Costs

If you connect for 12 months the total minimum cost to you over 12 months is $948 (BlackBerry $79 Plan) or $1,188 (BlackBerry $99 Plan) respectively, excluding any additional or Plan excluded service costs or any additional handset repayments (if applicable).

If you connect for 24 months the total minimum cost to you over 24 months is $1896 (BlackBerry $79 Plan) or $2376 (BlackBerry $99 Plan) respectively, excluding any additional or Plan excluded service costs or any additional handset repayments (if applicable).

Early Termination Fees

If you fail to port your number to us within 21 days of delivery of your handset or your service is disconnected for any reason or you switch providers within your minimum service term, an early termination fee of $50 (BlackBerry $79 and $99 Plans) for each remaining month of your minimum service term, plus any outstanding charges and any remaining handset payments (if applicable), is payable immediately.
