CellAtSea
CellAtSea™ is the brand name of Maritime Communications Partner's global maritime wireless service. MCP's onboard networks provide voice calling, messaging, MMS and GPRS services to customers of roaming partners like ACN. On selected ships, CellAtSea™ also enables you to access onboard information, entertainment services and wireless connectivity via your phone.
The service is available for use when the ship is 5km* from shore. When service is available onboard, "MCP" or "90112" will be displayed on the screen of your phone.

Important Information
ACN is unable to guarantee that service provided by an overseas partner network is available at all times. Coverage is not available in remote areas of the Arctic Sea and Southern Ocean. Coverage may not be available ship-wide as use of mobile phones and other cellular devices may be restricted by the vessel operator to 'Hotspots' in certain areas of the ship. List of vessels last updated September 6, 2009. Routes are indicative only and are subject to change by the ship operator.
* Indicative only. So as not to interfere with shore based cellular networks, onboard operation is not available when entering or leaving port or whilst at dock. The distance from shore at which the cellular system is powered on or off will vary depending on the specific laws for each port of call. When entering or leaving a port, and whilst at dock your phone may be able to connect from onboard your ship to service available from a shore based cellular network. Charges for roaming on these shore based networks may differ from those which apply whilst at sea.
