Directory Assistance

Need a number when you're out and about?
124YES (124937) is an operator answered directory assistance service that can find and connect you to most publicly listed numbers in Australia. The name and number of the person or business you are calling can also be sent by text to the screen of your phone for easy saving.

How much does 124YES cost?
$1.50 per call + your standard national call rate.
1223 Directory Assistance, Calls to 1223 (Telstra Directory Assistance) from your ACN mobile cost 50¢ per call.

Group Call

Need to get the group together?
Group Call is the quick and efficient way to get the message through, allowing you to add up to 5 additional people into a single conversation.

Who can use Group Call?
The ability to make a Group Call is available to all ACN mobile customers.
To turn Group Call on, enter *43# then press SEND
To turn Group Call off, enter #43# then press SEND

How do I make a Group Call?
Creating a Group Call may vary depending on your phone type so you should refer to your handset user guide if you need assistance.

The steps required are as follows:

  1. Make your first call and place the called party on hold using your phone’s menu.
  2. Call the second party you wish to add the Group call while the first party is on hold.
  3. To join these calls, either press 3 or follow the prompt of your phone’s menu.
  4. Repeat the previous steps to add additional parties to the call (up to a maximum of 5 called parties).

Every time somebody joins a Group call, all parties currently on the call will hear “A participant has joined the Group Call”.

Similarly, when somebody leaves a Group call, all parties currently on the call will hear, “A participant has left the Group Call”.

How much does Group Call cost?

There is no additional cost for creating a Group Call. You pay only your normal rate for each call you initiate.

For example, if you create a Group Call by calling two mobile numbers, you will pay your standard rate for each of the two calls to a mobile number.
